What To Expect
We know the first time in a new place can be a bit overwhelming.  Often there are a lot of questions.  What are the people like?  Will my kids be bored? Will I be bored? Where are the bathrooms?  Below is a list of things you can expect to see and experience when you attend a service at Heritage Church.
   – A casual and friendly atmosphere
   – JOYFUL live worship
   – Biblically based teaching that will challenge you
   – Fun, impacting teaching & activities for kids infant – 6th grade
   – A safe nursery environment with caring and qualified staff
You can expect to hear a Biblical message that honors the Bible as the inspired Word of God.  We believe that the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man.  The Word of God is the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Peter 1:21).  Our Goal is that you experience the Word of God by “Gathering” on Sundays, “Growing” in your walk with Christ and “Going” to the world to share the love of Christ to those in your community.
We express our love for God in song with joy and sincerity.  We come expecting to experience Holy Spirit as we worship with instruments and our voices and as we wait on Him.  He is faithful to do just that!  Our God is incredible so we endeavor to give Him the kind of heartfelt worship He deserves!
Song Selection:
You can expect to sing a mix of hymns like “Blessed Assurance”, traditional choruses like “Mighty Is Our God”, newer contemporary songs like “We Believe”, and even original songs like “Psalm 139”.  What you will find to be consistent about the songs we sing is the content.  We sing songs that do three things – declare who God is, declare His goodness, and express the Joy and Hope that comes from encountering Him.
Kids & Families
On a Sunday you will be warmly welcomed and your kids checked in for their own service.  Your children will enter their classroom where they will learn what living for God means.  Active learning is key at Heritage Kids since we believe that God uses our children now.  We teach our children in a way that helps them engage with the lesson and encounter Holy Spirit from week to week.  We do our best to engage the four senses (hear, see, smell, and taste) and like to partner with parents and family members so that each child is receiving the best care possible.
From the babies to the 5th graders, your kids are taken care of with love, attention, teaching and prayer.  When the service is done, they will be waiting for you to pick them back up and they will be ready to reach their world.
